Welcome to Safety First Aquatics!

My name is Rachel Sanger and I am the President of Safety First Aquatics, LLC. I formed my company the spring of 2008 after teaching in Frederick County for four years. Teaching children and adults to swim is my passion! I love the look on a child's face when they learn to blow bubbles or put their face in the water for the first time. My program is not just about learning to swim, but learning to be safe in the water.

Over the past 12 years I have taught a variety of students, on all levels. This includes those that required special needs ranging from mental to physical disabilities. My company has also participated with the Young Athletes of Frederick which is a division of Special Olympics. My certifications include American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid, I have taught the Red Cross swimming curriculum, have my water aerobics certification and have developed my own curriculum that best fits my company’s mission statement. My instructors have undergone rigorous training and provide the most current swimming techniques to help students learn and develop their abilities.

Mission Statement:

To provide quality water instruction to children ages 6 months to 17 years & adults age 18 and over. This will be accomplished while fostering an environment of trust between the instructor and student; while maintaining safety at all times.

My company currently provides services to several communities in the Frederick area and has a reputation for providing excellent training. I would love to provide your children with a safer swimming environment!

Swim lessons are available for children ages 6 months to 18 years of age and adult lessons are available as well. Lessons begin June 14th, don't miss out! Register today!
